The recent dramatic increase of seismic activity in the central US poses both scientific questions and economic challenges. Our center focuses on better understanding of this seismic activity by conducting a wide range of relevant research projects. Faculty members in the School of Geology and Geophysics, Oklahoma University, direct the center, with participating researchers from Oklahoma University and consultants from the energy industry and government agencies.
